Refresh & Reset, all in a day, and in your own way! The notion behind the Day Retreat is to enjoy a refreshing change of pace & place, the healthful vibe of the forest and a restorative day-long dose of peace and quietude plus a personal development experience you get to choose.
How It Works
You will have use of a cozy yurt and 50 acre woodland property (details below) for 8 hours, though the timeframe and duration is up to you. Sometime within that period (when is also up to you!) you will enjoy whichever service option you have selected from a choice of 16 experiences. There is an option to do two (i.e., morning and afternoon) but be mindful of over-programming your getaway!
The experiences vary from one to several hours. The rest is unstructured time for you to spend as you wish: journal, do yoga, draw, bring an instrument, dance, just sit, take a nap, gaze at the sky, walk the trails, journey the labyrinth, meditate, ponder. Mark a birthday or anniversary of some sort. Unload something from the past, envision something for the future, or sit in the present and gaze, guilt free. Take in the good energies, and good oxygen, that come from being accompanied by tens of thousands of trees, and zero people. You decide, it’s your day away.
Initially, all you need to do is book a date. You don’t need to finalize the choice of experience or number of people until a week before! Yes, the idea is to have a retreat that is on your terms and reflects your needs.
Changing up the scenery and notching down the pace can work wonders for a personal reset, or to mark a special day or occasion.
