Here’s a great experience if you just want to have some fun! Engaging in musical sounds, especially drums and other percussion, has a way of opening the heart, turning off the mind, and reaching into the soul. No musical experience or skill is required.
You’ll have open access to over 30 instruments of various styles & sizes. Most are percussive, easy to play and explore, including several shakers, a wave drum, Indian shruti box, digeridoo, two types of steel tongue drums, a 24” buffalo drum you can feel reverberate deep inside your body, and four full-size djembe hand drums… perfect for a small group!
Your host will provide an orientation to the instruments, and after that it’s up to you to set the pace and play in whatever way calls you. Experiment with combining instrument sounds with nature sounds, human sounds, or whatever moves you.
